Using Psychotherapy to Find Real Relief from Depression Symptoms
Common Questions
-
If you’ve experienced three or more symptoms persistently for at least 2 weeks, you meet the criteria for depression:
unexpected, significant weight loss or gain or changes in appetite
difficulty sleeping, or sleeping too much
fatigue or energy loss
feeling worthless or excessively guilty
difficulty concentrating
recurring thoughts of death or suicide
Don’t worry, though, because it’s not a disease and it’s not permanent. There are many success stories from people who’ve found relief from lifestyle changes and evidence based therapy.

Evidence Based Therapies that Work Best For Depression
Best Treatment for Depression
The cause of depression varies depending on the person and may display differently than what you’re used to hearing about, but there are common threads among us that we can address to find relief - including lifestyle, community or environment, diet, childhood trauma healing, and more.
My practice addresses each of the facets related to anxiety for a holistic and lasting wellness approach. The goal of our time together will be to help you find more immediate relief from the symptoms that occur regularly with evidence based practices to “biohack” your body into feeling a sense of security and peace, as well as to find the root cause(s) of your depression and help you unlearn and unwind from those stressors.
For issues outside of my scope of practice, I will provide referrals to other providers and centers. You will walk away with more support than you had before when working with me.
